Hi Guys! So Denon DJ has released an audio interface for Serato DJ.
This is our first BIM Industry Buzz tech news. Every week we are going to be taking a look out there for any new tech and bring it to you right on our channel.
So we have the world’s smallest interface to control the noise maps for Serato DJ. It’s going to be around the size of any Large Smartphone.
It’s the Denon DJ DS1 Serato DVS Interface.
*Controls 2 decks in and out
*24bit and has a capable sampling rate of either 96, 48, 44.1 hz
Since we first layed eyes on it at the Namm Show in January 2015, we’ve been waiting on its release.
Now that Serato DJ 1.7.6 has been released the interface is officially supported.
This is huge considering the DS1 is the first Serato soundcard from a company aside from Rane.
Surely Denon will bring their hallmark audio quality and reliability to club DJs and turntablists who prefer the feel of vinyl, but desire the flexibility a digital music library provides.
Denom Ds1 is an ideal companion for the travelling DJ. The rugged, all-metal construction easily survives constant transport, setup, and breakdown DJs endure.
A single USB cable handles power and audio duties, greatly simplifying operation.
Inputs are phono/CD selectable with a grounding post for turntable use.
It’s going to be around $299.99, which makes it very affordable in comparison.
